Located at 1.568 meters above sea level, this little mountain village lies in a sunny valley at the foot of the Sassongher mountain. The ski slopes and the cable cars, with a direct connection to Sellaronda and some Dolomiti Superski areas, are right outside the door of Piz Boé Alpine Lounge. The center of Corvara is animated during the mild summer evenings by concerts, markets and exciting events! Gourmet restaurants, pastry shops and trendy fashion boutiques: there really is something for everyone!

Corvara is the cradle of winter tourism, and there is a reason for it: the first ski lift in Italy was built in Corvara in 1938, it was called "Slittovia Col Alto", and later, in 1946 it became a chair lift, the first one in Italy.
